6. give 5 examples of social injustices in the philippines and give the ways of solving it by the community

Answer:

There are many social injustices in the Philippines that need to be addressed by the community. Here are five examples and ways to solve them:

1. Poverty - Poverty is a widespread issue in the Philippines, with many people living below the poverty line. To solve this, the community can provide more job opportunities, support micro-enterprises, and establish programs that provide financial assistance to the poor.

2. Lack of access to education - Many children in the Philippines do not have access to education because of poverty, lack of resources, and other factors. To solve this, the community can establish more schools, provide scholarships and financial assistance to students, and offer alternative learning options such as online classes.

3. Human rights violations - Human rights violations, such as extrajudicial killings, torture, and enforced disappearances, are still prevalent in the Philippines. To solve this, the community can advocate for human rights, demand accountability from authorities, and create safe spaces where people can report abuses without fear of retaliation.

4. Gender inequality - Gender inequality is still an issue in the Philippines, with women facing discrimination and violence. To solve this, the community can promote gender equality through education, advocacy, and support for women's rights organizations.

5. Environmental degradation - The Philippines is experiencing environmental degradation due to pollution, deforestation, and unsustainable practices. To solve this, the community can promote sustainable practices, support environmental conservation efforts, and advocate for policies that protect the environment.

Overall, it is essential for the community to work together to address social injustices in the Philippines. By promoting education, advocating for human rights, promoting gender equality, and protecting the environment, we can create a more just and equitable society.

11. Essay: Answer this question in at least 20 sentences.Question: As a student, in what ways will you be able to lessen the injustices and the negative environment in school such as bullying and discrimination?

Bullying and discrimination have been a big problem not only in schools but also in society. This generation has made a huge impact on spreading awareness on this kind of topic. It has been so impactful that it was able to lessen the problem, but since it raised awareness, I realized that the problem is worse than I thought. When someone is bullied, assaulted, harassed, or excluded in any way, in any context – be it their family, school, workplace, community, or society – their fundamental human rights have been abrogated. Those who bully others intend to harm those they target, deriving pleasure from hurting others.

Bullying and discrimination goes on so many kinds. It can include racial discrimination, mental bullying, harassment, etc. If bullying or harassment happens based on a student’s color, race, national origin, gender, gender expression, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or religion, it may also violate civil rights and discrimination laws. In all cases, a person who is targeted by bullying or harassment has lost their right to be safe, strong, and free. This includes the loss of basic human rights, as in the case of someone who is targeted because of their identity and connection to a particular social group.

As a student who is absolutely against injustices, I will not be silenced and stand up for the victims who were discriminated against and bullied.  If you do not feel comfortable stepping in, get help from an adult immediately. Write down what happened right away and report it to the school. If the school does not address the bullying, consider filing a complaint.

12. What are the early experiences of Rizal that gave way for the realization of injustice and discrimination under the Spanish rule in the Philippines?

[tex]\huge\bold\orange{{ANSWER}}[/tex]

The courts of justice in the philippines during Rizal's time were notoriously corrupt. Verily, they were courts of “injustice” , as far as blown Filipinos were concerned. The Spanish judges, fiscals (prosecuting attorneys) and other court officials were inept, venal and offentimes ignorant of law.

13. according to jose rizal they are the main agents of injustice in the Philippines

Civil servants play a very important role in public administration as the partners of the government in bringing its affairs to the people, such as delivery of basic services and carrying out its day-to-day-functions. Often, civil servants or the bureaucrats are criticized for being unresponsive to the public needs. Corruption remains a malady in the bureaucracy up to now. There is very little respect for the people in the government. We cannot blame the people for the common perception that corruption is endemic in the government, considering that the Philippines has consistently been on the list of the most corrupt countries in Asia, according to surveys.

14. write at least five petitions concerning the sinful situation in the philippines today one of your petition for example may be about the injustice is happening in the country

While significant steps had been taken for the advancement of women in the Philippines, the social conditions continued to pose challenges to the Government, the representative of the Philippines told the Committee which monitors the implementation of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, as he presented his country's third and fourth periodic reports this morning. He said that despite decreasing unemployment and declining poverty, the number of Filipinos living below the poverty line was a serious concern. The Chairperson of the National Commission on the Role of Filipino Women emphasized that women suffered the most from the effects of poverty, which hit rural women particularly hard. Because of scarce job opportunities, many Filipino women were forced to seek employment overseas where they were exposed to exploitation, abuse and maltreatment. The Filipino delegation outlined government efforts to deal with the problem of migrant women workers by providing new employment opportunities in the country and protecting the rights of those who chose to work abroad. In 1994, 60 per cent of deployed overseas Filipino workers were women. Rural women, who migrated to urban areas and foreign lands usually landed low-status jobs as domestics and entertainers and were often subject to abuse and exploitation. There was a considerable lack of data about violence against women, due in part to the unwillingness to report instances of such violence, according to the delegation. Women's efforts had led to draft legislation on rape. However, pending bills on domestic violence were still being stalled in the legislature. In the meantime, a presidential directive had called for all agencies and government officials to educate the public. The delegation drew attention to gradual improvements in women's health and education. They were living longer, marrying at an older age and having fewer children. Women had increased responsibility for the economic upkeep of households and increasing numbers were entering the workforce, however, there were wide gaps in employment conditions and pay between women and men. The Committee will meet again at 3 p.m. today to conclude its consideration of the reports of the Philippines

19. Essay which explains the effects of rampant abuses and injustices of the spanish authorities and clergies to the filipinos.

Answer:

Jose Rizal promoted Filipino consciousness and identity in Spanish. One of the most important themes in developing nationalism was the novels Noli Me Tangier and El Filibusterso, which exposed the abuse of the colonial government and the clergy from the peninsula. The notoriety of the novels further enhanced their popularity among Filipinos. It is forbidden to read the peninsula in the Philippine Islands as it has been exposed and mocked.

Indeed a continuation of the Noli, the El Filibusterismo exposes the real picture of Filipino society at the hands of the Spanish authorities. Socio-political issues mentioned in the Noli are also dealt with in its sequel: the abuses and hypocrisy of the members of the Spanish Catholic clergy, superstitions disguising as religious faith, the need for reform in educational system, the exploitation and corruption of government officials, and the pretenses of some social-climbing Filipinos and Spaniards.
